Liaisons referred by this one LS on proposed new work item ITU-T X.sgRPKI “Security guidelines on Resource Public Key Infrastructure deployment”
Body
Thank you for your liaison on your proposed new work item ITU-T.X.sgRPKI. The
IETF SIDROPS WG and the IETF SAAG (Security Area Advisory Group) have received
the liaison. It is unclear why the gap analysis provided has so few documents
listed considering the body of work from the SIDR and SIDROPS WGs. Please see
the documents here: https://datatracker.ietf.org/wg/sidr/documents/ and here:
https://datatracker.ietf.org/wg/sidrops/documents/ for the published and
in-progress work from the Secure Inter-Domain Routing and Secure Inter-Domain
Routing Operations working groups. For any gaps perceived in the published
IETF RFCs or current Internet Drafts on the topics related to RPKI, the work to
fill the gaps should be done in the IETF using the IETF process. Contributions
to the work of the IETF is an open process and participation on the relevant
mailing lists is welcome.
