Body
ITU-T Study Group 13 would like to inform you that Q16/13 is developing the new
draft Recommendation related to QKD and IPSec integration framework. Draft
Recommendation ITU-T Y.QKD-IPsec-fr specifies the framework for integration of
QKD and IPSec, including overview, application modes, requirements, reference
model and overall operational procedures of QKD and IPSec integration. The work
item is intended to provide pre-shared keys (PSKs) from QKDNs for cryptographic
applications based on IPSec protocol to enhance its security against quantum
computing cracking. The procedure of PSK integration into IPSec follows IETF
RFC8784. This information is for your comments and we look forward to
collaborating with you in this area. Attachment: – The updated draft
