Gonzalo Salgueiro

Gonzalo Salgueiro is a Distinguished Engineer at Cisco. He has been primarily focused on Collaboration and IoT technologies, multimedia communications protocols and architectures as well as network design and deployment of real-time voice/video/data over IP. He currently serves as co-chair of the and ASAP working group, and is a past-chair of the INSIPID and SIPBRANDY working groups. Gonzalo is also a member of numerous Directorates and Review Teams.

In addition to his IETF leadership positions he has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the SIP Forum, as well as past co-chair of the WebRTC, IPv6 and FoIP Task Groups in the SIP Forum. Gonzalo is also an active contributor to various interoperability and open source development efforts.
